I can't seem to get this working either. It won't pick up the steam link... Works with my Guitar Hero guitar for Clone Hero with some lag. Also makes my xbox 360 controller work correctly.. Misleading and broken. Similar to other reviewers, my purchase followed the Xbox One controller + wireless Win 10 adapter reference in the description. The adapter was able to scan the first time, but never connect. Subsequent uses it could not even scan. Very disappointed, not worth the time to even try it.. Thought that I would have the same issues others reported but took the risk anyway. I have a XBOX One controller and wireless adapter from my Oculus kit. Link + Virtualhere + controller works fine.A few points to be aware of 1) Xbox one contollers do not work without virtualhere2) Once you download and install virtual here it will showup under the Steam "Software" tab, be sure to run/launch the app or you wont have anything to work with. (On your PC you will see a new program in the toolbar near your clock that shows a virtual USB hub"3) On your link. Setup USB/VirtualHere passthrough on the wireless adapter after you plug it into the link.As soon as I did this I got a white light on the adapter, the controller stoped hunting for the system. Steam immedatly recogainzed the new device and prompted me to profile the device. I also heard the USB new hardware chime from windows as the passthough kicked in. In a rush to test it I just accepted the defautlts and launched 7Days to Die. The system works rather well. My guess as to why people have issues is they may have missed one of the steps, the most likely being the windows program wasn't launced.One bad part is that now big picture shows a big empty screen (I have a mouse attached to my link as well and I can fumble navigate and eventuly get something up. My best guess right now after 30 seconds of use is that the program VirtaulHere is running and its trying to pass that display over, or because I have multiple dispalys that something is wonky there. Either way this software works for the controller i purchsed it for.. Didn't pass Xbox 1 Elite (wired) to PC like it said. Controller still acts like a mouse for UWP games. Right stick moves the mouse cursor instead of controlling the game. Same effect as without VirtualHere.
